This falls under the umbrella of politics and religion.

Wonderful! It's about time, really. Let's hope gasoline powered cars are gradually replaced with this.

No, it's just an environmental thing...? There have been plenty of climate threads.

I will continue to drive my 90 Dodge Ramcharger with its gas drinking 5.9. If that thing gets in my way I will just drive over it.

Even if you can buy it, where are you gonna get the hydrogen to run it?

All for the environment and all, but I would love a Dodge Ram pickup. A really big one. with a quad cab. If I ever get one I'll plant a tree or something

ya I always think that too, until they put hydrogen fuel stations everywhere I don't see hydrogen doing so hot vs. gas and their gas stations which happen to be everywhere (
)
I think a car that runs off babies would be more realilistic
(srry something about the concept of running a car off babies makes me laugh)

As I mentioned before one day I WILL invent a car that is powered by kittens, and will only get 1 mile per kitten.

If I'm not mistaken, it still runs on electricity. The electricity is used to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen to "recharge" the fuel cell. Then when you drive the car, the hydrogen and oxygen are recombined to give off energy. Basically the fuel cell is a hydrogen "battery."
If I'm able to, I wil buy a hybrid for my next vehicle. One of my coworkers has one.

You know, you could burn down my church for all I care. Heck, I don't even practice my religion of upbringing anymore anyway. And you can vote opposite me in the next election.
But if you try to take away my internal combustion engine, I will take up arms to defend against you. You can pry said engine from my cold dead hands.
