I am developing a website devoted to my favourite guitar players

as a project for college.

I am looking for some free webspace, any ideas.

And any tips??

Angelfire.com is free as far as I know still...

I know you said free, but there are some companies out there that offer low price domain names as well as cheap web hosting.

eSmartStart is one I use, not perfect but it works. You get a popup window, but nearly every serious internet usuer has a popup blocker of some sort. And it doesn't mess with the actual design of your page.

any ones out there that give a lot of space +50mb at least.

and also any free domain names

this is all for a shcool project so it is temporary, i need it to be on line until may/june.
