Re: Giants and Dolphins in Wembley stadium today.

Funny I was just about to start this thread! Is anyone in London today for the game???

I am a third generation season ticket holder for the Giants. We have seats on the 50 yard line on the Giants side. Yes, I live in Michigan. I give the tickets to my brothers who live in Jersey and Connecticut. I also have a friend in Manhattan who has a lot of my season tickets. Never sell for profit. I'm curious to know where my seats will be when the finish the new stadium.

GO BIG BLUE!

Well, we didn't quite bury them, in fact we barely won, but we did! It looks like the people in the UK really dug it. there were 90,000 people there. They said they could have sold out that stadium ten times. Wow, what a response. They are going to start playing out of the USA more often..

GO Giants!!

I heard on the news here that there was a big interest for tickets from the States though. Would be interesting to know how many people that went were Americans over here on holiday (ummmm....i mean vacation ),or people that came over just for it and genuine Brits.

Not a big Giants fan, but Shockey is a god. He's got a good heart and head for the game.
I'm curious, too, to see how many people went were actual Brits. Although, if it filled out 90k, I find it hard to believe they were all vacationers, workers on visa, and expatriates...

It they are going to the trouble to send two NFL teams to London to play, then they should have sent The Pats and the Colts

From what I heard it was quite the "BORING" game!

The Giants aren't as good as their record, unfortunately. At least they seem to know it this year at least, unlike last year!

What would that matter?
Marino never won a Superbowl.
And didn't Shula, one of the winningest coaches in the history of the game only win one?

EDIT: Wiki has just revealed to me that Shula actually won two Superbowls, is THE winningest coach, and was the coach of the only undeafeated team in the history of the NFL.
