Go away snow!

Still coming down like crazy here... it was supposed to stop by 2-3PM, now they are saying 9PM or even past midnight. I guess today alone should be 15+ inches. It was fun going home as the roads were so bad you couldn't see where the road stopped and the curb/ditch began. Lots of people running into things. Visibility is maybe 50 feet. Plows are being pulled off roads for safety and streets are simply being shut down.

I'm going to go out for some dinner and coffee right about now.

What really sucks is it's really heavy wet snow. I bet a few roofs will be caving in tonight...

We're getting the same up here in Toronto. It's been snowing since midnight last night - they're forcasting 30-35 cms by tomorow.

It is supposed to go down to -30 degrees C for us on Saturday. There was a couple of warmer days this week (-5 to -10 C), but for most of the last 3 weeks, it's been below -20 C. Add any wind to the cold temps, and the windchill drops the temperatues another 15 to 20 degrees.

Yeah, I'm sick of it.

We've got it here too. Amazingly heavy stuff this time around too. It's gonna be a real PITA to move the stuff. I've gotta go start working on it soon.

No kidding. I've had pollen all over my car the past few days, and the lilies are blooming out front.

We moved North and higher up in the mountains for the snow. I love it...nothing like it. I am jealous. It has been a slow snow season so far, I am told, but we already had more snow than the last 3 years in South Jersey.

Warm weather and sunshine is for pansies, anyone can do good weather only the real men take on the winter...

We just went driving around town to find some dinner and try (pointlessly) to find a decent place to buy some coffee beans. Only restaurant open in Brookfield was TGI Fridays (yuck, but we needed groceries and the store was closed). It looks like a war zone, streets are total chaos. Hooray for driving a Subaru...

unseasonably warm here in SE New York...i think we broke the record!

was outside without a coat on Feb. 6. very weird. Damn near 60 F!

On 1/29/08 it was 45F. On 1/30/08 is was -40F (wind chill). Somehow I haven't gotten sick. I think I might skip straight past cold/flu and go straight to death.
