Re: GO YANKEES!!

I love the throwback white guy look that Chan Ho Park rocks, with that beard. Makes him look like a Phillies player from 1979, or a country western star. On an Asian player it's just so ridiculous!!

http://www.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=120221 and then click on NLCS game 4 video...He looks like the Japanese Kenny Rogers

Yankees in 6!!!

Re: GO YANKEES!!

that YANKEE VICTORY must have crushed Rich who was probably flying high from the pathetic NYG performance vs the Egals and of course the temporary tie game in the 9th.

priceless - clueless philly fans cheering strike 3 not seeing a foul tip then damon making the phillies look silly (noone covering 3rd with lame shift).

gotta love the post game coverage where the yankee hating broadcasters (ie. former players jealous of any yankee) are essentially handing cliff lee the victory for tonights game :rotf: extra added bonus was the coverage of the lame crowd in philly that Fox couldn't keep from broadcasting ...glen

Re: GO YANKEES!!

sorry rich but posting that lame logo pretty much serves you up as a punching bag in the thread. plus, i was actually being mild mannerd not engaging you in conversation... posting facts. you WERE no doubt crushed after total excited that you would win in the 9th vs Coke warming up. ...glen

Re: GO YANKEES!!

Sorry but you'll have to find somebody else. I knew they were destined to loose this series at the beginning of last week. They were all way too coc-ky, and Chucky talking "dynasty". Please, win a few first....

Re: GO YANKEES!!

find some else.... easily remedied by not replying

fwiw i particularly enjoyed Rollins' "we'll win in 5" prediction. and the fact 95% of phillies fans couldn't pick cliff lee out of a lineup on sept 1. if their life depended on it ...glen

Count me among them. I'd rather watch paint dry than regular season baseball

Re: GO YANKEES!!

watching the entire game... 9 innnings exclusively... unbearable and impossible (even playoffs).

watching most of the game while doing other things too... highly enjoyable ...g

Re: GO YANKEES!!

In the last 88 years the Yankees have been in 41 World Series, winning 26 of them and possibly the 27th...

That is a dynasty...You can't have a dynasty after 2 seasons it takes generations to achieve!! I've lived through the slowest of the dynasty years and have still managed to see 11 World Series with the Yankees where they went on to win 6 times. What other baseball fans can say that?

Truly amazing how they evolve with the changing ways of baseball and continually find ways to put a winning product on the field...
