Good sources of potassium (K)

Hello,
I have read that K is good for your joints ect if you play guitar, in my experience with hand pain and such I have found that bananas are good for ones hands, but there is an unwanted side effect of eating 6 of these a day....

So, becuase you can't purchace vitamie K by itself is there anything else that can be used as a substitute for delicious bannans?

I have heard that 'Gator Aid' is good but I dont know where to get it, I understand its a drink. What does it taste like?

Any Help would be apprechiated.

Green leafy veggies bro. They are packed full of vita K. You can also get suppliments of K. It also helps for better blood coagulation for us Type O's

Re: Good sources of potassium (K)

There is one error. Youīre talking about two different things: one of them is potassium (K), whick is an important cation of the intracellular liquids. Itīs very necessary for muscle contracctions, specially heart beats, an neuronal transmission. The other one is vitamine K, which is synthetysez by our intestinal bacterias and its necessary for create coagulation factors by our liver.

If youīre a healthy man, you donīt need neither of them. Anyways you can eat bananas to earn potassium, but if your kidney works, it will eliminate the excess. If you donīt have any coagulation dissease you donīt need vitamin K. In the case you ned it, thereīre intraparenteral presentations of that vitamin.

Vegetables (dark green ones) have B9 and B12 vitamin but no Vit K.

Yep, Bananas will do it for you dude! That is Yngwie Mlmsteens No. 1 tip by the way, to eat bananas! lol, it said so in last months Total Guitar Magazine. Apparently, Blackmore told him it years ago!
