Good year for Chicago sports
Looks like it may be an interesting year here.
The Bears are off to a great start. I never really followed football until last year when I started working for alot of the Bears players and got to meet them and work in their houses.
The Blackhawks seem to have a decent team, or atleast better than anything they put out in the last 10 years. I was at the home opener Saturday and even though they didn't show up for the second period they played well the rest of the game, and Bulin looks like he;s ready to play. It was actually hard to get tickets, which I haven't seen in years.
I hear good things about the Bulls, but couldn't care less, I've tried.
The Sox did grossly under achieve this year though, hopefully a good kick in the dupa is comming there way, and although I hate the cubs, atleast the dumped Dusty Baker.

Yeah Yeah the Seahawks lost against the Bears.
WHY GOD WHY DID ALEXANDER HAVE TO BE INJURED!!!?
Anyways, congrats on the win to Chicago. I bet it's a party over there.

Re: Good year for Chicago sports
Suprisingly it hasn;t been as crazy as I thought it would've been. I think after last year and with the overall history of Chicago the fans are being a little more careful.

Re: Good year for Chicago sports
I love Chicago, I'd love to get back there for a business trip or something. A few Goose Island's and a steak at Shula's, and I'd smile for months

Alexander is hurt because he was on the cover of this years Madden. The Madden curse continues.

Re: Good year for Chicago sports
I know... they played pretty aweful tonight but managed to come out with the win. 6 turnovers (although 2 takeaways) and 2 missed cardinals field goals....
Aside from tonight they've been doing great though. Their defense is a force to be reckoned with.
But for the first time since last year in baseball, Chigago fans have something to be excited about. Now if the damned Cubs could finally win one.... (personally, I think the White Sox deserved to be cursed forever).

Re: Good year for Chicago sports
Their defense is what won the game for them tonight. They looked like a completely different team the second half.
