GTA4 on the PS3

Has anyone played this game yet and if so what do you think. Worth buying???

i played it for like 15 minutes the other day. it was pretty cool. i'll probably get it once the price for PS3 comes down from way too freaking much. If you already have a PS3 or 360, I would get it. It's definitely a lot more realistic than it's predecessors

I got it for PS3. It's pretty damned cool. Still feels like San Andreas in parts. Everything is uber good looking. The mobile phone feature is cool, as is the GPS. The sheer scale of the map is incredible.

Flying out through the front of a car windscreen is just plain funny.

I'd say get it. If you liked GTA 3, Vice City or San Andreas, you'll like this.

No, if you are in a car, going pretty fast and you hit something you fly out of the windscreen, usually into a tree or something.

althought its not called new york city but is based on it, how real layout wise is it compared to NYC?? And if it is laid out like NYC i assume all shop names and such have been changed? i've got this game on order so haven't had chance to check it yet. It'd be cool if it is laid out like NYC as I plan on going there one day

I got it on 360. I'm just over 40% complete, and so far it's been great fun.
Anyone who enjoyed the previous games will love it.

i am dying not being able to play it (dont have $500 for ps3). I loved san andreas and vice city, and I cant wait to play gta4 sometime down the road when its cheaper...

I bought it the first day because i was worried that it might be sold out, but the gamestop employee told me they had excess of 360 versions (PS3'erS blah!!!)
anyways, I really really like this damn game (cant stop playing it). MY only criticism is you cant store cars in a garage and have them re-spawn there (like saints row), and that you cant modify your car (like san andreas) but i feel its only a big deal to me personally bcuz i haven't heard any1 else have discomfort with those issues i addressed. =\

But when (if?) I get a PS3, this is probably the first game I'll get.

I actually don't even know much about it...

It only damned on me about last year that I play way more guitar than video games these days... which I guess is kind of a good thing

i bought this game yesterday for the 360 and all i can say is OMG this game totally rocks ive played all the others from the original gta and this one is by far the best the city feels so real and yea flying through ya windscreen at excess of 100 mph is hilarious some very nice touches in it

I have it on 360, the only beef I have with the game is that it doesnt look good on any 1080p screen I have played it on, since it is 720p native. >_< I have already beat it and I have half the achievements

(Did it instead of studying for an exam.... which I got a 100 on.....

)

Yeah I really wish there were garage's, I wish u could get this one house on the 3rd island from one of your contacts. and modifying cars was fun in san andres, especially NOS lol

maybe DLC (Down loadable content)will come out or something
