Here's A REAL Antique...
I've been a student of history -The Knights Templar and the Catholic Church for over 25 years, and over time I've collected some cool stuff.
This s the coolest so far - a Templar Cross from the 1100's with full documentation, x-rays and certificate. This is not what you'd find on evilbay and extremely rare so I thought I'd share some pix...
This falls into the time period when the Templars were united with the Pope to take back the Holy Land from the Muslims - a unique time in history.
Anyway, since I got the insurance rider I feel safe enough to post pix - thought you guys might like to see something that's been hanging on a thousand necks throughout history.......

Re: Here's A REAL Antique...
I went through a very thorough identificatrion process with multiple insurance companies and expert collectors - more pieces from this private collection were recently auctioned at a famous auction house in New York city.
And no, I won't go into price, but I will say this level is not minor-league stuff.
I look at it like this- how do you put a price on an actual piece of history that has been worn, loved, died, worn in happiness and worn to war, worshiped around a thousand necks for 9 centuries?

Re: Here's A REAL Antique...
That is really fascinating. I've been getting into history as of late, it's only something I've only just learnt to appreciate, it didn't really appeal to me when I was younger. I admire the difficulty and effort that must of been to obtain. Enjoy it.

Where did you buy it? And if you don't mind, how much? I want one!

That's the easy part, you raise your paddle until it's the last one in the air, and that's the price
