Talking

~High Speed on Ice~ (got broadband)

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I took Jimmy and Glen's advice and got Verizon

(yes I've been on dialup)

It was really easy. Pick up a modem and install. I got tired of waiting for the Comcast guys to get out here so they could drill holes to install cable.

I can't believe the difference. Screen change is pretty much instantaneous

Sorry folks, I'm probably the last one on the planet to graduate to high speed but I'm stoked!! Heck....I feel like I live in the big city now

I might even be able to keep up with some of you now so be on guard

~ROCK ON~

High speed is the way to go...

I have Comcast, and it's pretty damn good here... but they drive me crazy.

Costs too much, too...

I bet Vista with high speed really rolls.

Just imagine how fast you'll be able to get those 20th pics up... next month!

high speed is great. I got it a while ago so I could watch live donkey shows while my wife thinks I'm looking for work.

Re: ~High Speed on Ice~ (got broadband)

Where I grew up in VA, they still don't even offer cable TV out there. My mom still has dial-up, and it sucks. Not only is it dial-up, but it is SLOW dial-up. Takes like 30 minutes just to check e-mail.

I love high speed. The only way to go.
