Hitting the big 3 0!!! :-|

Well, today is the day. I'm 30 now and sadly still unemployed

. Me and mother threw a big 60+30=90 birthday party today because she turned 60 earlier this year and we didn't get to celebrate it because she has been ill. The party was great and everybody had fun. Funny enough I don't feel old. My best friend who turned 30 in August earlier this year asked me that question (if I feel old).

There's a big difference in getting older & geting old.

Enjoy it, I reckon the 30's are the prime years for a guy

I'm staring down the barrel of 30 too, and not looking forward to it. Luckily I'm not the first of my friends to do it, but that doesn;t make it too much better.

I've been on the wrong side of 30 for several years now and I feel great, just like Gilk.
Also Andre being 30 with a PhD and fluent in German and English is not a bad place to be, puts you in a position where you are looking for e50,000+ job.
