How bout them Colts?

Hoorah, didn't think they'd come back, but alas, they did!

Gosh, I hate Chicago though. Rex Grossman is a highly overrated pet IMO.

Chicago is all defense. I hate the Colts and the Pats, but glad to see Indiana pull through. Although, I hope to see the Peyton lose his chance at a super bowl ring. I would like to See Vinitieri miss a game winning field goal for spite.

I don't know how to feel about this Super Bowl. As a Pats fan, I'm disappointed that the Colts won and want to root against them, but I think it would be an affront to professional sports if a fraud like Rex Grossman has a super bowl ring while talented, stand-up guys like Manning, McNabb, Brees, etc. do not.

Re: How bout them Colts?

I fancy the Bears to win it myself, especially if their defense holds up like it did last night. Urlacher is just an absolute machine when he want's to be. Yes, the Bears are all about the defense, but who's saying thats a bad thing necessarily. Now its up to the Colts and Manning to see if they break them down or not.

And I know people give Grossman a hard time, but I think he can get the job done. Admittedly, he is either really good, or really bad. There is never an "in-between" moment with him. But when he is on-song, he is great.

I think the Bears might just steal it though.

Re: How bout them Colts?

Grossmans' problem is he's hot and cold..... bears have good defense and heck they had one drive that was all running game. Not taking anything away from the Colts but I'd say "Da Bears" may have a little better balance offensively and a solid defense. But like they say on any given Sunday anything is possible. Just look at the "fumble" TD the Pats had last night. It was as though they could do no wrong early on.

Can't forget special teams: Devon Hester vs. Colts' kickoff/punting squad

Re: How bout them Colts?

Ya had to figure Manning and the boyz would make it soomer or later. They are always at or near the top of the AFC. They sure give us fits Grrr!

I'm glad they beat N.E.

I'm just tired of N.E. What.....4 of the last 5 superbowls??

As much as he annoys me, Peyton deserves a ring. And against *fill in the blank* Chicago, he's almost certain to obtain it

The AFC has been totally dominant for years now. Maybe the NFC should take some lessons on "opening up their game" ??

Especially as Prince is doing the half-time show this year.

That should be cool.
