How do you upload videos to the internet???

Hey guys.... I know this is a dumb question, but I want to create a website that advertises my guitar lessons, and on that website, I want to show clips of myself jamming along to various songs, and showing instruction...etc.. just so potential students can get a feel for my style of playing and teaching.

Can any of you guide me in the right direction on how I would post video clips on that website, and can any of you reccommend in certain brand/model of camera that is affordable, yet captures decent quality footage/sound when uploaded to the internet.

I hate to sound so dumb in this area, but it is something I have never messed with, and advice is much appreciated!!

youtube.com and photobucket.com are free web hosting for videos and pics respectively. It's free so you can just give students a link to your videos and you can also post pertinent info in the description, and did I mention it's free?

There are some knowledgable camera/video geeks (all due respect ) around that can give you good advice on cameras. Give your thread a little time to get seen and you should get some replies with more info.

I really don't want to have to redirect anyone to another site.

Also.... is there any free hosting sites out there, where I can literally get a domain ie: a .com for free??

Yeah you can embed them. Next to youtube videos is a code that you just copy and paste and it will embed the videos on the site for you.
