Hybrid & Designer Dogs

How crazy..Labradoodles, Pomadoodles, Affenpoos and our Pom-A-Pug. There are literally dozens of these mixed breed dogs - I though they were called mutts, but nope.



That is our 8wk old Pom-A-Pug, which is a cross between a Pommeranian & a Pug. Just picked him up yesterday as a gift for the family.

I thought they were called mutts too. speaking of hybrids, have you seen Ligers and Tigons? Hybrid lions and tigers. I thought it was just something out of Napoleon Dynamite but you really do get them. Quite scary when you see the size they get.

I would say most the times, mix breeds make better dogs. They are healthier, a little unique, and a personality all their own.

technically, they are not hybrids since they are the same species. You can't even call Dogs/ wolf crosses hybrids. Just mix breed.
