I hate the dentist !!!!!

Bloody hell my filling fell out and I need to get a Crown put in. Its gona cost me $1200.

For $1200 I could buy a new guitar or a new amp or an affects system. But no I have to let some waynker put a Crown on my tooth as to say my tooth is royalty and needs a crown.

The government pay for all our healthcare over here :^D

they don't pay for dental work?? well they don't pay for mine..

This must be why English people have such straight and beautifull teeth

I have private health insurance so I will get some money back from the $1200 but im still gona fork out alot of cash.

So your saying a trip to the dentist is tottally free in UK ?
I find this hard to believe.

no its not, if ur under 18 and in full time education it is, otherwise u pay i think unless its for checkups perhaps.

So a new guitar would be better than NOT having mouth problems and pain

I have had $27k worth of mouth surgery over a 5yr period and was lucky to have a private program foot the bill. I have serious anxiety about going to have anything done in my mouth after all that but I most surely don't HATE them after all they have done to improve my life and quality of living it.

No, that's true! Sorry...

I had t go to the dentist the other week, and as I'm on a gap year, I had to pay a whole £42 for a check up and a filling.

Obviously I want a healthy mouth but my point is that for $1200 bucks I could spend it on something else.

Yes Id rather a new guitar over spending it at the dentist. I think most people would... Quality of life can be fine il just eat puree and baby food. Its quite tasty and babies have a pretty good life

I just came back from the dentist and he hurt me badly and im in pain and on top of that I had to pay him for it. And not only that I have to go back next week to get the crown mouldings and he said I now need 2 of them Thats $2400.

This is getting ridiculas.

$27000 for teeth is also a bit much dude. What did you have done ? Diamonds in each tooth ??? are you a rapper ?

There aren't any diamonds but there is gold and platinum involved, seriously.

I had extensive work done with 10 implants, rebuilt sinus cavities, rebuilt jaw bones - before someone asks, no, none of the work was done due to drug use (meth, coke). It was a genetic issue as best as they could figure and they were actually baffled at the cause but my lil' sis and my Mom have similar issues so they figured it must be something genetic. Lucky me.

I had the work done in a teaching hospital so the bill was actually almost half what it would have cost someone to have done elsewhere. The amount of procedures I had done would usually be in the ballpark of $40k.
