Re: I knew today was going to be great
Yes, but Paris does not know the tears of a $250 cell phone bill, or "I lost job and don't know what I will do now" tears. I find it difficult to empathize with the tears of a spoiled, rich girl that did not get her way. I do feel sorry for her in the regard that she does not know how to fend for herself. She will always be dependent on others for what she has in life and being provided for. I don't envy that. I have known women like this before.
You take someone else in a much more reduced economic status, and I promise you they will do more than a sulky 18 days!!!

I must say that was a brilliant response!!! Good one cid. Frankly I could care less about her. Or what she does. I do believe that people with money shouldn't get preferential treatment.

I don't know if that's quite right - can you learn to take responsibility for your actions or do you have to be taught? Is this just the first time she's ever had to answer for anything she's done? Are Ma and Pa Hilton not more to blame than her? Will she emerge a reformed and virtuous character? Do I really care?
As intimated, I really couldn't give a sh1t about Ms Hilton, but she is a walking textbook on why you shouldn't spoil your kids. 'Spoil' isn't too strong a term.

Re: I knew today was going to be great
Funny thing I heard on the radio this morning...seems Paris' dad Rich Hilton is going around to the hotels in Vegas looking for the best deal on Paris' "Finally Free" party. Seriously
They're looking at 50 thousand cash, 20 hotel rooms and plane tickets as well as part of the minimum opening bid to host this epic event. With parents like that, who needs enemies?

So wheres the link for the movie.....
Its only fair i see for myself whether she's a talentless spunk-dumpster!

More news:
Quote:
"I am behind glass and I want to give my dad a big hug and they won't even let me do that," she said. "I'm not a criminal, I'm not dangerous. ... It's hard but I'm stronger every day."
I kind of feel for her but she still doesn't get it. DUI is dangerous.
Quote:
"I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it," she said, adding that she is "frankly sick of it" and that she wants to "use my fame in a good way."
I think she's more concerned about her image/reputation now. She actually called this reporter not vice-versa. Not trying to bitch but it's so fked up

DUI is dangerous, but you gotta admit, everyone is doing it. Do you really get a cab after having a pitcher of beer at the pub? Every time?

A girlfriend of mine from Texas told me the same thing. I live in London and in my social circle, at least, it's a big no-no. It's cab or tube for me everytime.
