I love stuff like this...
I was shopping the other day and managed to find this beauty lurking in a record shop:
Yes that is a CD... of peace and quiet

...?
No its not. Soft melodies aren't music then. Quiet would be very softly and barely audible music. "Silent", on the other hand, would be an appropriate oxymoron.

Noooo
I saw it and got a quick snap on my camera phone. I was just gobsmacked and can only guess what is on it (well, peace and quiet I suppose?)

Yeah...it's soothing
Very chillin' and theraputic
I guess it's down to whatever you like affects your mood in certain ways!!!
I mean.....chart music and (C)rap "music" absolutely brings my blood to the boil and makes me feel homicidal

Yeah ! I know how that is ! What relaxes me is the sound of nails on a chalkboard, man that stuff is so soothing.
Dream Theater puts me to sleep all of the time !!! Seriously ! I don't need pills, by the second track I'm out for the night !!!!

That already exists. It's called "The Best Emo Album in the World ..... Ever."
(substitute rap/R&B/trucker C&W as you see fit).
