Unhappy

Ibanez official forum down.

hey guys.

i'm a newbie round here, and this topic isn't strictly "non guitar related" , but couldn't find a better place to post.

i've been having soem trouble getting onto the offical ibanez forum. it used to say some about not being able to get in, when i tried, now it just re-directs back to the main site.

its very frustrating. is anyone else having same problem? does anyone have any idea why its not working like it used to be.

cheers lee

ps.

i googled "ibanez forums down" and found this on yahoo answers, but its not much help.

Re: Ibanez official forum down.

That seems to happen to the Ibanez forums fairly regularly. I think it usually has to do with forum script upgrades and other such things.
Granted, I haven't been over there in a week or two...but last time this happened, it was down for about five or six days, if not a bit longer...
How long has it been down?

Re: Ibanez official forum down.

The forum is occasionally down for maintenance or upgrades like any other website. This recent closure appears to be the result of a deliberate attack by a vindictive troll.

Some former members started a new forum at http://swapibanez.proboards81.com/

Peace

Mike

Being worked on as we speak, SHOULD be up today. Please note: The same department, IT, that handles the websites is also the department handling our massive systems changeover so they are up to their posteriors in reptiles. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank everyone for their patience. It's going to be, uh, challenging for awhile.

Re: Ibanez official forum down.

I gave up on the Ibanez forums, I couldn't log in no matter how many times I tried. I wasn't banned, it's just a crap forum, as far as I can gather.

Looks like they're up and running again.

So, I wonder if "massive systems changeover" means they are FINALLY going to have their online parts inventory reflect actual inventory.
Not holding my breath, of course.

No idea, the forum was giving 403 forbidden messages from May 1st until today but many of us have been posting just fine for the past months.
