I'm so unlucky it's even funny!!!

Some of you may remember I recently had a major spinal surgery done:

6 weeks after, I'm starting to walk a few blocks per day, drive a little and even sit and play some guitar...a very good recovery according to my physician, everything was going great, but...

Last tuesday, a small belly ache starts and quickly gets worse...long story short: I had appendicitis!!!! so wednesday night I went under the knife AGAIN, this time after a quick visit to the ER!

What's the odds of that? 2 surgeries in 6 weeks? damn!!!! At least, both procedures had no complications and I have a good health insurance plan, so the medical bills won't be as huge as one could expect!

wow

and I thought my life had some misfortunes, I have 4 pinched nerves making my left side almost completely pins and needles, so im off to Physical Rehab.

Glad your ok, and be thankful you have good insurance, I know thats the only thing keeping me going otherwise I would be SOL..

It hurts to be on the wrong end of the pain stick -speaking from experience- Sounds like you got good treatment and care, that goes a long way. Chin up and move onward, stay dedicated to rehab it really works.

Dude bad luck is like body odour it sticks to you till you get some deordorant.

I've had my run-ins with not so lucky streaks too.
