Insane Keyboard!!!Help!

I need help badly!!!

my keyboard is insane! i was about to write an email this morning and it happened! i hit one key and two characters appear in the screen, all the numbers at the rigth side are blocked, if i hit the down arrow key, the volume level goes down what a f! is going on?! i checked the regional config. an3d everything looks o.k

I've edited that part of the message, but let me give you a taste of whats really going on:

"ibanesqz rules buth my keybo.ar3d is insane, ya3da ya3da ya3da, blath blath blath, i tha5ve a RG15V70 ththe sky is blue , ro.ses lo.o.k go.o.3d ath ththe FP lo.o.k ath this thing, please, thelp!!!"

thats whats really going on with my keyboard

Try another keyboard (and cable) with your computer to rule out some sort of hardware issue first.

Thanks for the advice, but i think its a virus, everytime i start the computer, something new happends, i mean like somethimes the enther key works, sometimes it doesnt, this thing is driving me insane, and i dont have an antivirus at the momento. I already erased all the cookies and thempo.rary files and the problem is still here

Why ask for advice if you're not going to follow it?! Try a different keyboard, and at the LEAST install the free version of AVG.

yes try a new keyboard and if that doesn't work try overwriting the keyboard drivers...may work. if that doesn't work, refer to the emily rose thread from a few weeks back...you may need a priest.

Is it wireless? If so, its either the batteries, or you need to get closer to your receiver, or clear some interferance between the two.

Ill try the AVG , i didnt knew that they had a free trial version , thanks!
It isnt a wireless system just the good old cable system.
I dont think i have the original drivers so ill have to download them and see what happens.

You usually don't need drivers for the keyboard, windows provides them

except you have one of those multimedia keyboards with 50 extra buttons. Anyway the internet is a dangerous place, not having a anti-virus program is too risky.

right, keyboard drivers are always supplied but why rule everything out?

Hey guys!
A friend of mine came yesterday and he brought his laptop, i tried my keyboard there and the same thing happened the keys were all insane!
So i went out and bought myself a new Genius keyboard and life is beautiful again.
