iPod Just Shut Down....

My iPod just shut down, for the most part. By "shut down" I mean like a computer, except, it does not turn on again, dosen't respond to anything, like trying to restart it.

I simply put it in my pocket, started to walk, then my music stoped, took my iPod out of my pocket, the screen was just white. Then later on (guessing when the battery ran out) it went to the blank screen, like it's turned off.

I've tried everything!! There is no damage AT ALL!!! I bought it in August, I've taken excellent care of it, it has a case and everything!

Mine did this about a month ago, it is just like a computer crashing. Luckily the store I bought it from gave me a FAQ sheet for troubleshooting. Try this: Plug the iPod in to a power source, hold both the menu and select buttons for at least 6 seconds.

Which models do you have and how old are they.
I fix them, in some cases the batteries completely go dead in them
I have all the batteries in stock, so if yours is out of warranty, I can take care of it.

Could it be the battery, I don't think so, I've had it since August, it ussually takes at least a year or so....

It very well could be the battery.
They had a bad lot this past yeat.
The new Nanos are emitting a whining sound from the display, they are not infallible, I can assure you. If it's still under warranty, I say hurry and send it back for repair. If not, I'll be happy to take a look at it at no charge and then if there is a repair to be done, let you decide what to do.

Lucky me. I've had my ipod for a few years now, and I think I'm starting to have problems.

I turn it on, it plays for a few minutes, and then shuts down on its own.

Bammbamm, is this something I can send to you to get fixed?

I'm not interested in losing all of the songs, as I have over 2000 that I transfered from a computer that I no longer have access to.
