Unhappy

it was bound to happen, sooner or later :(

dont make it easier to watch as a Dad though

poor little fella had only been out of bed 30 seconds, he tripped at the top of the stairs in a rush and before you know it hes at the bottom with a broken collarbone

not bad going though, first break at 2 !
I tell yo what, trying to keep a 2 year old from running around and hurting themselves again is a full-time job.

hes on the phone to his mum, telling her all about it

Poor little fella, I hope he gets well soon My son has just turned 2, bashed his head off the wall the other week, got a huge lump sticking out his forehead. It's awful for us parents when something bad happens to your child

It just cannot be prevented, I have tried so many times to watch out for Lennon but something ends up happening. Bless them

My condolances! I hope he has a speedy recovery! He's cute! Glad it wasn't worse. It's nerve wracking when you have to go to the emergency room with a child!

I know your pain dude. When my daughter was 1.5yrs she fell in the bath after being told not to stand up. Almost knocked out her four front teeth and she bled like a stuck pig. She had to have surgery to have the fastened into place.

Hard to believe how tuff little kids are.

I think your son is better off with an injury than without. Most kids these days are over-protected. Did you ever fall over and hurt yourself? Did it harm you severly? I know, I know. Some might say yes to both... At least he now knows how a fall can feel like.

Poor little sod. My kid is 2.5 now, and as mad as a fish too.

But still, your boy just learnt something important about his own limitations that some kids don't learn till they're behind the wheel of a car .....

Why don't you put those barricades up at the bottom and top of every staircase in the house. Kids shouldn't be falling down the stairs man.

I mean, every kid falls off the couch or a bed here of there. Or runs around and simply trips and gets hurt.

But how do you let a kid fall down the stairs?

Ohh just wait until he's a teenager and he wants to start skateboarding or doing stunts on a bike. Then you'll really have to worry.

Hope he gets better real soon!

I have this one at the top of my stairs. I use it for pet control, but it's great for children as well.

Sorry to hear he fell, hope he recovers rapidly.
BOth my boys have ad their share of spills, you just do the best you can to prevent as much as you can.

He'll bounce back, just do what you can to prevent it from happening again.
