Re: Jem Raffle Poll - Win A Jem
The first one I win, I'll be honest, I am going to cling to like crazy. If i win a second (also assuming i win a first), I wouldn't have any qualms about selling it for the price of the raffle ticket

You have my word as a Jemster
Somebody's gonna get a nice new 7VWH
(hopefully someone who can't afford one)
ps - when I win next month...I'll raffle it for $ 777.00 (still a great deal)
The next time I trade it for an old Jem
I'd love to be able to do that, but how would we know if they could afford one or not?
Even though it's a damn nice thing to do, I'd keep mine lol

Re: Jem Raffle Poll - Win A Jem
BTW over on the other raffle thread, it's not really looking like we are going to have much choice because there is only 92 so far that have said they will participate. I've got to say (as much as I'd love it to be $30) $25 looks to be the best option even though $10 and $20 is whoopin' some. I don't even think $10 and $15 should've been in this because there just isn't enough people up for it.
Come on people, get your hand in your wallet! lol

Re: Jem Raffle Poll - Win A Jem
Maybe it's be a good idea to do a seperate poll (again) to see how many people would go for $20, $25 and $30 since so many people screwed up their voting. Like I say, because of the amount of people entering, it's looking like it's going it's going to have to be at least $20 (for the initial draw)

I said HOPEFULLY can't afford, lol. I'll just draw the names. Who ever I draw gets it for $ 77. If they don't want it (PLEASE) Then I'll draw again

Re: Jem Raffle Poll - Win A Jem
There is a guy that hangs around some of the towns near me that dresses like a tramp and begs for money, one day I happened to be taking a shortcut between some buildings and caught him using a top of the range mobile phone.
Cheeky b*stard has a flat, woman, kids, car... unreal, lol
Either way, two thumbs up for the nice gesture.

Re: Jem Raffle Poll - Win A Jem
I wasn't paying attention to the poll and voted only for the $10 option, but I'd pay up to $50 for a Jem raffle ticket.
If we're definitely gonna use the DC lottery option, I'm sure there's a local station that broadcasts the live drawings. They do in Baltimore, so I'm assuming DC does as well. Since I live between the 2 cities, I can PM Glen or post the results as soon as it happens.

Re: Jem Raffle Poll - Win A Jem
Just set up my paypal acct to show my dedication to the cause.
Just to make my position clear in terms of cost, i'm willing to go up to $50 if numbers are low but beyond that it just starts getting silly. $30 would be the ideal amnt.
