I've been using jim777 (after the Jem777, duh) since about 1990 on Usenet and the rest of the web. I was pretty surprised to see no one here, of all places, had taken it yet. I've had to explain it a few times over the years, but not in a while. There's a lot more people on Usenet now than there used to be, and a lot of AOL type "bob8976357" names, too.

actually this name doesnt come from the rush song with the same title. I realized this after the fact. It signifies my favorite time of the day...magic hour.

Written by Frank Zappa with Terry Bozzio in mind. There are lots of version in Zappa´s discography, all of them terrific, specially the ones where Terry Bozzio is playing with marimba player Ruth Underwood.

Also, please correct me if i am wrong, is the song that Mr. Vai sent as a demo tape to Zappa.

Ankhnaten (also sometimes spelled Akenaten or Akhenaten) was a heretic king in Ancient Egyptian times. Took out a very well-rooted religion and turned it into his own version. Not very popular, and looked kinda wierd...
People rejoiced when he was dead. The old religion was reinstated, and he was not to be spoken of. Now that I think about it, I probab;y coulda chose a better name here...lol

The reality is that I have been called "Pharaoh" as a kinda permanent nickname since 8th grade. Only my mom, the IRS, and the DMV call me by my real name...so it's usually bad news. I chose Ankhnaten for my username because i figured I would have to be Sam Smith48274927 or something like at other sites. It was a fairly safe bet that this name was available....lol

I don't think mine is too far out. I love to play hard, heavy and "screamn" rock mostly. I think guitars are also my demons (as well as my angels) as they have taken up most of my free time and are my livelyhood for the last 10 years. The "69" part of the name.... well, you can figure that one out.
