"Kari Kuuva" is the name, or the real person, I'm refering to.
Why? He used to go to same school with my dad and he was already a music talent, that was looked up to (in the 60s and they were like fifteen).

Later on he became a real musician and is still one.

So, I'm just giving props to a local heroe plus "hats off" to a guy, who was determined to be a rock star in the 60s and in Finland.

I think it was Adrian Edmonson's character that was called Vim Fuego, real name Alan Metcalfe (he's married to Jennifer Saunders), I can't remember Nigel Planer's or Rick Mayall's character's names. I guess outside the UK you wouldn't have seen any of this. I think Bad News even did a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody with Brian May on guest Guitar!

Oh and Vim sounds a bit like Jim!!!

I remember that show. Classic stuff. I even remember the episode you're referring too. Rick, Vivian, Mike and the dirty hippy. Loved that show.

"You see, we plant the seed, nature grows the seed and we eat the seed"

"Bloody hell shut up Hippy!"

I haven't thought about that show in forever

Man, you guys are bringing back memories! I watched the Young Ones Sunday nights on MTV also (late 80s). That was a good episode but the one I always remember was Vivian on a train, reads a sign that says something like "don't stick things out the window", and he goes "wonder why?". Then sticks his head out and gets decapitated but is still talking. I think the episode had a game show and they were trying to get to the studio to be on it, or something. Can't remember exactly, it's been a while.

I wonder if you can get those on DVD? Time to search..........

Yeah that's an awesome one where his body is walking after the head and ends up kicking it down the track, lol.

I must admit, I preferred Bottom when they did the pub quiz (similar style really. Most of the same characters too.)
