Dudes,
what does your nickname mean?
I'm talkin about nicks like 7 Dying Trees, LGMT, Pry0531, VWall, Jester700, Vaiworship, Trouble311 and all the others.
I know it's a stupid question but ...just curiosity.

Thanks for the compliments on my name....like most people on this site...I've been using maxax for a long time...it's my e-mail address along with many other things too!

I also have to say that this has been great thread...and it's fun to learn the background of a lot of these names.

Finally...I've always been impressed with how international the users of this site are...it's great to hear from people in Europe, Brazil, Canada, etc. etc....and I'm rather impressed with how well everyone seems to know English...when it's not their native language...sure sometimes the posts are in a little bit of broken English...but it is still easy to understand what the intent is....you guys are doing far better than me if I were to write in Spanish, Italian, whatever?!?!?

Well, English language is easy enuff to learn and very catchy, unless you have to act Shakespeare stuff...
I like English, much more than any other language, except Spanish, Portuguese and Italian, of course!

Any suggestions? :rotf:

Well, my old nickname, Mrthingy, came off a Gary Larson cartoon... I stopped using that nick because I forgot the password and thought I could try something different. :)

My real name is Nick, incedentally, and I missed Jemfest UK because I wasn't organised enough. :)

Hey Whatson....when you live in Texas...Canada is REALLY foreign!!! However, I didn't say that Canadains don't speak English!!! And....not to mention the fact that I wasn't trying to say anything negative....I've just been impressed with how well a lot of people WRITE in English...when it isn't their native language! It's one thing to speak a foreign language....I can speak a fair amount of Spanish...but writing it...takes a lot more knowledge.

Gotta go haul the gear now...we're playing Thanksgiving night...how smart was that?!?!?!

my nick is just my first name.
it's a sort of some flower that lives a lot longer than others. i wouldn't know its name in english but the word means something like "not-dying" or "not-fading".
maybe it is a little embarrassing to be named after a flower, but it is pretty common name where i come from.

Howdy to ya all!!

My nickname is Albert KatZ, or Al KatZ.
I once played in the band called Al KatZ Quartet. Since I came up with the name I just continued to use it. Who is Al katZ?? Well... he's very cool guy.
To be true his name came up from two jokes... if you wanna now go ahead and read.
First one
This beautiful blonde with huge tits and loongest legs was laying on the beach when she noticed dwarf near her foot.
-Ohh... you sweet little thing, what's your name?? - she asked. Dwarf said something, but she couldn't hear him.
-Come closer, I can't hear you... -blonde said. So dwarf climbed her knee.
-So what's your name??
Dwarf again said something, but she couldn't hear him.
-Come closer...-she asked and dwarf climbed on her Veneral hill (ain't I choosing the words??!!).
-What's your name?-she asked again.
-Aaaaaaaaaaalbert!!! (pronounced with tounge out)

Second
Again the pornstar blonde is laying on the beach, but this time she's watching this handsome dude who's laying near her, reading Ibanez catalog (or something like that...). She became restless realizing that he doesn't give heck she's there. So she decided to start conversation:
-Sorry... but I see you like guitars.
Dude looked her for a moment and just nodded...
-You like music then?
Again he just looked at her...
-Yeah. -he said and continued to read.
Now she was furious!! She decided to take him with cat talk...
-Mmmmm... you like animals?
-Yeah.- he answered not even looking at her.
-You like pussycats??- she asked purring.
This time dude looked at her, put the catalog down and approached her. He started to make love with her the way she couldn't even dream it's possible. After she almost fainted few times they finished, and sand calmed down....
-How did you know that's what I wanted??- She whispered...
-How did you know my name was KatZ??- He answered.

So that's me Al KatZ!!

Pozdrav Neven!

pozdrav al katz!!!

so, you are from zagreb?
what is the situation with ibanez guitars in zagreb shops? could you tell me what they have in stores?
in split there is only one shop with new guitars, and they only have "cheaper" models (they are also pretty expensive).

Ciao majstore!!!

I'm very pleased to inform youz that in Zagreb we have authorized Ibanez/TAMA, Hughes & Kettner dealer. The dude who works there is pretty cool, and you can actually try guitars!!! In other shops here if you don't show the money... no trying. Hebiga! The prices are, well... normal. Not too expencive, you can also order any Ibanez guitar, TAMA drums or H&K amp, preamp... they also have Zoom FX's. In shop you can find PGM, Jem7VWH, K7's, bunch of cool looking and cheap RG's, JS, and few other Ibanez cool guitars. Nothing too big or too fancy, but OK.
If you decide to go to Zagreb one of this days, you have my email in my profile. We can meet up, drink few beers, check out the stores, visit few live music clubs... whatever.
Maybe Nuno will join us, ha Nuno?? Hehehe...
Nuno, my man!!

CU all!!

'Dragon' represents the guardian of myself that evolves to most efficiently, concisely, and powerfully manage my raw energy/resources. Often I consider not using the name in that it can seem pretentious or something, to myself even. I retain it since in the historical/genuine senses it's nice.

'1 1' means snake eyes initially most apparent when doing a cooperative intership with the USACE. That experience temporarily damaged my personality. It was during that time I became aware of Jemsite's existence and acquired my first Ibanez, a '99 UV777PBK.

I use '2 2 2' to represent metaphysical time travel, etc. For a year or so it was much more frightening to me than 1 1.

Thanks for asking,
Jeff
