Job at guitar factory?

I'm currently in college and not sure on what I want to do for a living. I'm entertaining the idea of working at a guitar factory. It's been a dream job of mine for a while. Does anyone work in a guitar factory or know someone that does? Does it ever get repetitive? Also, what factory would you guess suggest I look into? I'm thinking something more skilled like PRS or Carvin as apposed to Fender which is more focused on machines than hand-making (no offense Fender players, the strat is my favorite guitar! ), unless it's the Fender custom-shop of course.

Thanks, Andrew

Re: Job at guitar factory?

I worked at Washburn right out of college with a degree in PR. I started in the service department (that or sales are usual entry levels for many business jobs) and worked up to artist rep in the marketing department. I would recommend looking at getting your foot in the door with your degree, and see where it goes. Good luck!
PS- I am a teacher these days, so not in "the business" anymore.
