Join me on my drive home....

Today we got some snow. I snapped off a bunch of pics on the way home with my phone cam. I assembled them in one long strip pic. It's a 1.5meg pic. I drive this way home about 60% of the time. I enjoy the drive. Soooo different than when I lived in the city in California. Everywhere I go when I leave my house is a cool drive. And even better on a summer day on my '81 Honda CB650.

Well, here it is, enjoy.

Some of you should do a similar pic to share with us. Let's see your drive, somewhere cool.

Well, WE paid a boat load for her. Wifes idea. I was reluctant, but I'm glad I went along. Very sweet dog.

Who knows, maybe if you looked though a camera, you'd see things differently.

It doesn't snow alot here. Sometimes we get a few inches at a time. But it doesn't stick around for more than a week usually. Every few years we get a big snow in Feb or March of about a foot or two. That's really fun. We have a snow ski place 15 minutes from here, and a river for jet skiing and wakeboarding 15 mins also. It truly is paradise.

Please do show! I live in the Netherlands and it's vastly different from the US. I'd love to see that!

Darin, lovely thread and pictures! I really enjoyed it. Thanks.

Cheers, Sam

One thing about living in New Zealand is that driving to jobs over the Wellington area always involves some great scenery - so driving to and from work has atleast become a more pleasant experience than it was in England.

ah crap. I drove thru Richmond earlier today. Didn't realize you were from there. Might've tried to do a meet-n-greet.

I'm wondering where Darin is from...The kids and i took a road trip a passed thru 7 states this week (NY, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV, & PA). I did 10 hours myself today - about 600 miles, including driving from Williamsburg, VA to Luray Caverns (awesome) and home to Long Island.

This is a cool thread - how long of a trip was it Darin?

I wonder if anyone got good pics of the lunar eclispe last night - i was hoping to see, but the sky was cloudy and snowy

I look through a camera for a living , in fact I look through a camera way too much some would say. I've actually decided to leave the 5D & HD gear at home for my next vacation to spend more time enjoying the moment instead of trying to capture it in High Def or in a photo. My wife won't know what to do with me .
