Just failed my written drivers test.
Man, i cant believe i would fail my written portion of the drivers test. Im so mad right now i was to throw a rock at the DMV's window.
I missed 11 out of 39 questions. i had only one wrong that made me fail.
anyone else not pass their written test the first time.
Tell me your experience

Sorry to hear man. Look at it this way, you're still young and you can have a go at it once again. I guess its the bicycle for now.

Re: Just failed my written drivers test.
11 out of 39 wrong?
You are only allowed 5 here in the UK!
I passed first time, by the skin of my teeth, with 30 out of 35.
Though I did fail twice on the practical - passed 3rd time with 3 minors.
IF you need advice, I'd say study a bit on the areas you were weakest, and try to relax more in the next exam.
If it's anything like the UK one, then it's pretty much common sense and logic - there are exceptions though.
Good luck and keep trying!

Damn Ethan, did you open your eyes when you took the test???
I've never failed a dmv test, be it written or practical. If you failed 11 out of 39 questions, I'd say that you need to really study that manual man. I don't know the rules in Nevada about how often you can re-take the test once you fail it but, you can do it once a day in Virginia. Study hard and good luck on it.

Re: Just failed my written drivers test.
Don't take this the wrong way, but generally, you should have a pretty good command of the knowledge required to pass this test. Getting nervous and screwing up because of that is understandable, but would you really want to be driving if you were anything less than qualified?
Just study a bit more and you'll get it next time. Stay safe

Re: Just failed my written drivers test.
BTW I'm pretty sure in the tri-state area you can only take the test once every 6 months. They really make you pay if you screw up the first time.

Re: Just failed my written drivers test.
Don't even get me started on how much a joke it is to get a license in the US. If you failed 11 out of 39, then you are not ready for a license.

Re: Just failed my written drivers test.
Passing a 30 hour Drivers Ed course and 6 hours behind-the-wheel training is mandatory in MD for all applicants, regardless of age, unless they have previously been licenced in MD or another jurisdiction.
The folks around here still drive like a-holes.
