Well done mate!
It's the best feeling when you truly dominate lol.

Great to hear Lethal. Sometimes you are just "in the zone" and it seems like you can't hit a wrong note, everyone's timing is spot on, the stars just seem to align. Those are the moments we live for.

Re: Just Got Back From My GIG.
Hey congratulations, that's truly awesome.
While you were performing at your gig, I was at an open mike night and I got a lot of compliments from everyone after I was done. (Of course, I was playing the harmonica with a few other people accompanying me on guitar and piano . . . soon I'l be good enough to play the guitar at this open mike as well).
But keep on going and giving the audience what they want and you'll go far.

I can't wait until I am ready to do an open mic night. I was at a bar the other day and this guy jammed on his accoustic. I want that to be me, but I'm not ready yet. I've got some timing issues to work out.

That is actually the driving force in my music right now. I am focusing on a few simple, fun songs and just working on them over and over.
The songs where I'm closest are Ben Harper's "Steal My Kisses," really simple chords and a fun song. Tom Petty's "Apartment Song" and "Even the Losers" are pretty close too. This open mic has a two-song limit and I really want to do Bob Dylan's "Girl From the North Country" followed by Petty's "Down South." Ha ha!
Pink Floyd
's "Wish You Were Here" is easy and beautiful but not really the mood I want.
Oh, another simple but beautiful song is JJ Cale's "Magnolia."
Good luck and let's keep each other aware of how the other is doing on the open mic goal!

You are a entertainer & musician...... it's just the size of crowd and their response that varies!

Well, I've never played rock music for a crowd, but from my humble public speaking or performances, I can say that I have experienced that memory loss. It's happened where there's significant pressure to do well, I really don't want to mess up, and I'm just focused on what I'm doing.
It's living totally in the moment, in the present, in a life where we spend most of our time living in the past or the future.
