Re: Just Passed My driving Test

well done.

remember - it's a priviledge, not a right. or something.

i've had to pass a few driving tests myself. most recently when i moved to canada. must've been a funny sight to see a 31 year old man sweating it out with all the 16 year olds waiting in the queue for their driving tests. it's weird when you're older than the instructor.

Re: Just Passed My driving Test

thanks guys, i started when i was 17, failed two tests and lost all my confidence. So i started again after about a year a couple of months ago when i turned 18, and passed Such a good feeling. No need to get buses places now haha. The price of buses over here in UK is terrible! Now just to get insured and do my pass plus to lower my insurance
Thanks Guys, dont worry Il drive safe!

I was interested in this, how much does it actually lower your insurance by? I'm currently learning but hope to have passed by x-mas.

Cheers

Re: Just Passed My driving Test

Yeah i had no idea how hard it was to get your license in europe. i have a friend who lives in germany and it seems that i can get very pricy trying to obtain your license.....but not in the us. I find that odd because you would think that since so many people in america can drive they would make drivers ed and what not cost more cause there is a big profit to be paid cause most people would pay the rediculous price so they can drive.

Re: Just Passed My driving Test

I got mine last year in Poland, but didn't drive for a year while I was in Canada. I should get back to it now.

Re: Just Passed My driving Test

pass plus is going to cost me £130, but thats what my instructor charges, it will probably change from instructor to instructor! He said that it lowered one of his "clients" insurance £500 and thats a hell of a lot of money! So i guess after you pass your test if you can spare a bit of cash its gonna make things much better for your insurance. At the minute im glad i dont have to pay anything else for lessons, and im gonna give the attitude that if i can lower my insurance for £130 its well worth doing!
