Last Sunday I was coming back from a city about 160 km distant from my city, with a friend who was sleeping at my side. Then, on the road, the car started to lose power. I turned the air refrigerator off, and the power came back. A few kilometers ahead, the car started to lose power again. Then I started to smell something burning from the front of the car. Luckily, I saw a restaurant at the side of the road, and when I thought about stop the car, the engine died, and I had to put the car aside without the power steering.
When the people at the restaurant saw me, they began to make signals and scream for me to get out the car and run. There was fire on the front tires (coming from the engine), and as the car started to stop, I could see the fire raising from the engine, until the point there were high flames and a lot of smoke. This happened really, really quickly.
I literally kicked my friend away from the car, who ran after see what was happening, then I got my documents and my cellphone, and the front glass crashed right on me, while the fire was advancing into the car and appearing on the glove compartment. I still got the keys and saved the luggage at the back of the car. And I ran away. The people came with water and stopped the fire.
After all this, I looked at myself and I noticed that I had
NO SINGLE INJURY AT ALL. I had absolutely nothing. People around me could not believe I saved my friend and escaped from death, and did all that, without a single injury. And also how I was so "cold blood" to stay calm and even take pictures.
Take a look at the pictures of the car. I still cannot believe I'm alive.
