Just tried a Macbook

Hey folks,

I just got to try a macbook for a couple hours, it was freakin awsome, I never tried a mac before, it was running Tiger.

Just want to know if anyone else out there has a Mac and what their experinces are with them, I'm thinking about getting one, or the Pro sometime in the future, or just go all out and get the G5!

I recently bought a MacBook, and it's the best laptop I've ever had. Go for it!

Re: Just tried a Macbook

Awsome, good to hear guys, I got my eye set on a laptop right now, so probably the Macbook or Macbook Pro, if I have enough will power to save that much instead of buying another 570 or 550

Re: Just tried a Macbook

I'm not a mac user but i know someone who does use it and is very very pleased with it. My worry is making all my current programmes working if on one. If Vista is as bad as it sounds like it's gonna be then it's going to be a swap to Linux for me.

Gotta have a good comp bro!!! It's been really hard for me to drop cash on my computer AND upgrade it when I could've bought a new amp or another guitar, lol.

Re: Just tried a Macbook

Been a Mac user for 16 years. I've personally used 7 different macs (desktops and laptops) and I've only had 1 problem (hard disk failure). which was attributable to the drive, not the mac. Tried to go to windows/linux a few years ago, just to taste it (swapped pcs at the office). Man what a headache!! The best advertising for MacOS is Windows
