Let's talk coffee/java

Anyone HAVE to have coffee every morning? I'm hooked on Starbucks Sumatra. Freshly ground every morning of course.

Unfortunately, I can't move without coffee in the morning. I drink good ole Maxwell house. No 5 dollar coffee for me..

Starbucks Espresso blend - buy it at Costco under the Kirkland Brand - $13 lasts all month.

After working at Starbucks for five years, I like Verona when I'm in the mood for coffee. I wish they had Estate Java.

Illy's is good too. Mostly been drinking black tea in the mornings.

So you're not going to say what brand of coffee you drink? Hope it's not Folgers Crystals as a last resort!

Re: Let's talk coffee/java

for me, i go the asian way. green tea, or juice. but I sure do love that we have a java detour next to our school. its way better then starbucks because the coffee is stronger and has more caffine to wake u in the morning.

LOL, never. I buy mostly Lavazza beans (from a local restaurant supply co) or from a local specialty roaster (Ahrre's Roastery).

if i want a "cup of coffee" at home i'd make cafe americano (double shot of espresso and the cup topped with boiling water)... glen

I drink coffee all day (in fact I have a cup now), but I don't hit the Starbucks or anything.

I grind Columbian Supremo beans for my morning brew and settle back with a Mocha Java blend in the evening.

Re: Let's talk coffee/java

This is my coffee (what a surprise )

Mmm.....deep, dark, robust and flavorful!! VERY soothing in the early AM hours

My psycho metabolism does not allow me to drink ANYTHING with caffene in it or else I literally bounce off the walls!

Thanks for letting me borrow the pic, Paul
