I don't care about the drug use or his general wierdness. That's personal. Raping kids is not. It is not okay and it is not forgiveable.

Of course that's just my opinion...

Re-read it, and the first sentence is a question

.

I don't know if he is saying Michael should be remembered as a molestor.
But he definetly WILL be remembered as a child molestor.

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

Ha ha, its funny how some people some people can hear his name and feel the need to defend their views of a now a dead man on a guitar forum.

He who's not sinned cast the first stone kind of thing.

The maturity and iq level has now exited the Jemsite building.
LOL!

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

Still, it was never proven that he molested anyone. If I remember correctly, the family was in debt and happy to take a chunk of his money to drop the case. If my kid was truly molested I would have seen him to jail, and took some of his money in a civil suit.

He deserves some respect as one of the few true musical genuises of our time. That is what matters, the kids all got paid.

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

Honestly, I don't think he ever molested any kids. I think he just truly never grew out of being a child in his mind. He never had to grow up and was totally surrounded by people who told him whatever he wanted to hear. He wanted to be Peter Pan and he was truly rich enough to be Peter Pan and no one would tell him otherwise. I think he was genuinely surprised when people found it weird that he had sleepovers with kids. I also think the parents of the poor kids he had sleepovers with saw an easy mark.

He was a weird weird man but one hell of an artist.

I can't remember who said it, but I though it was hilarious that:

"Only in America can you be born a poor black boy and die a rich white woman."

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

Look, I don't know if he molested kids. All I know is that he didn't molest My kids.

Also, people can't sit here and say that he will be remembered for his musical legacy, when Jemsite now has 6 PAGES of debate on him molesting kids.
If that is not an indicator of his legacy, I don't know what is.

Try ****, MTV, newspapers. They speak of his legacy. A forum with brain dead shredders is not something to go by.

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

Ignoring three decades of great music, and focusing on something that was not proven... Yes, to me that's silly. Silly can be ignorant, which is stupid. Someone will call stupid people brain dead.

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

he never really had an impact on my life as it is, nor what i play as a musician. i didn't like his music or him at age 8 and i don't like it, or him now. I would have felt more of an impact maybe if he had. As i've said before, its a bit of a shame we've lost one of a generations 2 icons but thats about it. Btw great music is a subjective view and forcing a subjective view on to others is a bit brain dead in itself! So lets grow up a bit folks, its not an argument, no one is right, no one is wrong. its news and nothing else.

Speak for yourself fellow member

The child molester remarks aren't just coming from nowhere. When child after child makes the accusations after they were in bed with him only someone who is truly brain dead would choose to completely ignore it.

If Gary Glitter had MJ money do you think he would have been convicted?

Again, I'm not saying he did it, what I'm saying is that it's fair to discuss it and is not unreasonable to think it probably happened and say so.
