I think the match was really bad as the Liverpool was able to keeping us down, but... we won and get that old 05 cup back!

why the hell did the ref stop the before the full 3 minutes of extra time. and also this goes to show that "cheating can win"

Filipo Inzaghi Handled the ball when scoring the first goal(He knows he did, Everyone knows he did), which was shocking as Liverpool outplayed Milan for most of the match, As a Man Utd fan I feel slightly dissapointed for them.

As Soon as Milan got the first goal, the weren't even interested in trying to get another goal(Typical Italian team spoiling a cup final). Kaka was totally tamed all night by Liverpool, apart from when he thread Inzaghi through for goal 2, the full Milan team were boring all night,

Better team lost, shame. Yes Liverpool fans, I genuinely mean it, but I must add this, one half of me is glad though lol Man Utd Champions of England! Liverpool are just runners up lol

Inzaghi caught up in the ball's trajectory unintentionally, and most of all with His shoulder, not with His hands.

It's kinda of funny reading about an italian team not "interested in trying to get another goal (typical Italian team spoiling a cup final)", thinking about the way Liverpool plays football...

C'mon! Milan showed His attitude when we played vs. the Machester team, which is an offensive team and thinks about scoring, not only closing in defence.

All the people in the world who enjoy football said that was the best match EVER played in the champions league history.

Liverpool played the right match in order to stop Milan from scoring a lot (like it was in 2005, and like it's always been), but they only thought about defence as there were any dangerous situations for Dida.

Milan did not play a good match, but the best match possible versus a defensive team like Liverpool.

No where near as exciting as the final of '05. There was me expecting something even close to it. Luckily I didn't wake up for the match.

Well said mate. It was really boring, I could only see one team trying to win the game, no guesse's to who that was.

It was a disappointing game (as a Liverpool fan). I think Liverpool had the better of the game but didn't look very dangerous.

Pennant was good until it came to knocking in a good cross, and Kewell is a big puff.

Here's hoping for some good signings over the summer

he should have brought crouch on earlier and taken a defender off instead of a midfielder.

Well, after hearing the Liverpool players talk after the match, they admitted to being outplayed on the night. the first half was Liverpool's but after that Milan just played enough to keep them at bay.

The bottom line is that Milan as a team have got an incredible line-up of players...they should have kicked more butt, though IMO.

Not a liverpool fan, but I think those two hardly contribute much to be honest. Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso and Pennant are the ones who really shine in midfield.

Last year's final was between Barca and Arsenal (at least they got somewhere

)
