Re: Movie posters

It's cool to hear you like it. By the way, there is also a sequel to the film, which is called 'The secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the rescue.'. I've never seen it, but I don't think it was based on the original book. It never appeared in the cinema's either. It went directly to video. It is said that it is not as good as part one. Anyways, the DVD cover of that film is nice, though.

If anyone else is having problems seeing them, please let me know.

Re: Movie posters

I'm sorry about that. I was going to edit that anyway. It maybe wasn't so funny in hindsight.

Re: Movie posters

Thanks for posting the correct colour on the FOTR poster, Myst and rain.
In real life the FOTR art work looks fantastic.

Re: Movie posters

'Lost highway' is about "...the mind tricking itself, to keep itself from having to deal with the undealable.". That's what David Lynch says about it. I guess in a nutshell, Fred Madison kills his wife because he thinks she's being unfaithful (while she actually isn't), and then goes completely nuts. As you've seen, in the film.

Just kidding! I love it too. It's in my movie top 5!

No thanks, IbanezGirl. When I get my own place, I'm going to hang some cool posters up aswell. One of 'Mulholland drive', and some other cool ones too. By the way, which movie is FOTR? That reminds me: in the 'Your movie top 5?' thread, you posted 'CTHB' or something like that, as one of your favourite films. Which movie were you referring to?

Kind regards,
Myst and rain

Re: Movie posters

Make sure when you get your own place, you have a dedicated home theatre room, the cool posters would then look exceptional
Sadly, i don't have one because i live in an apartment, but my friend does and its absolutely fantastic.

I was referring to "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon".

Re: Movie posters

A home theatre room... That sounds great! I was planning on getting a projector, which I would then put in my living room. I'd have to get an apartment with a pretty big living room for that. Or I would just have to move some furniture around whenever I would watch a movie. That would be rediculous. Anyways, that is a cool idea there, IbanezGirl.

It would be great to have a projector at home. There are so many movies I've never seen in the theatres. Only on TV or DVD. It would be great to see 'Rear window' on a big screen! I remember that the restored version of that film was released in 2000 in the cinema's. But back then I didn't go!

Anyways, 'Croughing tiger, hidden dragon' is great too! I love the battles in the trees. And to think that they didn't use any computers creating that!
That's another great movie to see on a big screen!

Kind regards,
Myst and rain
