i'm not a lynch fan - i actually turned off Mulholland drive 2/3rd
of the way thru as it just wasn't compelling enought to waste
another 45 min to finish - but are you sure the top poster is
not the dvd cover?

Well, Glen, I recommend you to watch Mulholland drive all the way through at least once. If you love a good story, you won't be dissapointed. And of course, you get to see Naomi Watts and Laura Harring kissing each other too...! That alone should be worth watching the film again for! That's actually my #2 all-time favourite kissing scene! Sigh.

And the poster I posted is just one of the many posters of Mulholland drive. I know that this one was posted all over Cannes when it was shown there.

And Vertigo is cool too! One critic called Mulholland drive 'Vertigo on valium'. That's a pretty sharp observation.

i saw that part - and in High Definition it's just one of those movies (and directors) people seem to love or hate. I know people who love his movie "Dune" and to me that is among the worst sci-fi-hollywood dreck ever but one mans garbage is another mans gold.

i'll post a few more posters later... i recently was looking online for them as i am decorating my media/movie room and added a couple nicely framed (glare free glass, matting, etc) movie posters. there are alot of nice posters, even for bad movies... glen

In HD?! You lucky man! I'm going to get a projector when I get my own place. So I can watch it on a VERY BIG SCREEN.

And David Lynch himself doesn't dig the Dune that was released either, I think. He has said it was a disapointment, for him. He got a lot of pressure from the studio on that film. So if he had had his way, it probably would have been different than it is now. Dune is for David Lynch, what The adventures of Baron von Munchausen is for Terry Gilliam: a bummer.

Oh man. Now I can't get Naomi Watts out of my mind... Oh Naomi...

By the way, did you guys know that they're making a re-make of Hitch****'s 'The birds'? (It's hilarious how 'Hitch****' is censored by the forum! ) It's scheduled for 2007. And it stars Naomi Watts as Melanie Daniels. That's gotta be something to look forward to. If it has a good director, that is. That movie had a cool poster too. Check it out.

Team J Crafter, that Star Wars poster is fantastic! It happens to be my favourite Star Wars movie of the original trilogy, by the way. I love the battles in the snow with the ATST walkers! It's great.



And of course, the battle at the end with Darth Vader!



By the way, Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) is very charming!
