My Babe and my guitar

There was a great thread a while back on this subject. So many of you said some great things about my daughter, Ryan. I don't know any of you and I don't want to push my sadness upon you but I felt compelled to write.

We lost her Sunday. She was three years and four months old. She suffered acute liver failer, coupled with leukemia - an overwhelming one-two punch. She fell ill last Monday and didn't last the week. I'm sure it's the toughest thing I'll ever have to live through.

So I just wanted to say thanks again for all the great comments I got on this photo the first time around. She was a special girl as I'm sure you can imagine. Thanks for listening.

Peace,

BB

Oh Bruce My entire body just shuttered when I read this

Man...it's hard to find words, but I am so sorry and this is terrible. It's things like that that make people realize that their every day little problems are just trival.

Try to hang in there buddy and your Jemsite family is ALWAYS here for you!!!

What a sad shame!!

Blessing to you and your wife and family!!

Bruce, I send you my best thoughts and feelings. Your story has saddened me and I will never forget it. I pray that you two will be re-united one day and if you are ever in England you have a friend. My deep condolescences to you both and all who loved her.

I have no idea what to actually write to you, but my heart goes out to you and your family. There is probably nothing I could remotely say to make you feel any better but my prayers are with you.

Re: My Babe and my guitar

Thanks everybody. Believe me - I know that there are no words...so don't feel compelled to write. I just had to share because it's important.

As it turns out, she's one of only five reported cases in the world where the leukemia presented itself with massive acute liver failure. Original until the end, she was. If it were JUST the liver, or JUST the leukemia I'd probably be talking to her right now.

I was lucky to have had her and I'll celebrate her always. Thanks again for your thoughts.

I love to write some profound words of wisdom, but there are none.
Condolences to you and your family, this is just unimaginably tragic.

Re: My Babe and my guitar

Bruce,

I am deeply saddened by your loss. I wish there was something one could say to make you feel better but, unfortunately, words cannot take such a pain away. Please know that there are plenty of people who are praying for you and will be there for you during this difficult time. If there's anything I can do for you or if you need someone to talk to, feel free to PM me anytime. In the meantime, my wife and I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Basurto

Re: My Babe and my guitar

Wow, I don't even know where to begin. I have three girls myself, I can only imagine what you and Julie are going through.
We'll keep your little angel in our prayers Bruce. Stay strong for your wife and let go of your regrets as soon as you possibly can.

Let us know if there's anything we can do.

Peace,

jim

Bruce,

I hope that you and your family find peace and I will pray for you.
It is truly a sad day here for the Jemsite family.
Just feel happy knowing that your angel has touched so many hearts.
