Need Software to Shrink AVI

I took some videos at the G3 concert last night with my digital camera and I need to shrink them down to 100mb or less in order to put them on youtube. What software do I need?

what camera are you using to shoot? what format of tape? minidv? that's what i'm assuming since you need to shrink it down to 100 mb...must be much larger in its raw format....minidv. what did you usually use to capture the footage to your hard drive. how much do you want to spend? adobe premiere would work well....save it as a wmv file.

The videos are in AVI format. I'd like to convert them to MPEG4. I already have Adobe Premier Elements, but it doesn't have the option to convert to MPEG4.

yeah, elements won't do it but premiere will....the standard premiere, 6.0 or higher, preferably 6.5 or premiere pro. or surf the web for video editing mpeg4 conversion. does utube accept that format? i thought it was favoring wmv files.

No it actually favors the MPEG4 format.

quicktime is great but depending on your compression settings that file will be huge.
