New Doctor Who!

Premiers the Friday on Sci-Fi.

Anyone looking forward to it? Back in the day I used to watch DW religiously. That's Doctor Who, not Dave Weiner. He was still a thought in his parents mind

On the previews, it looks like the same old Tardis and a good olde Dalek

Stairs anyone

Re: New Doctor Who!

I'm just waiting for the 3rd season of "Rescue Me" to start which hopefully should happen around June I think. I need my fix of Denis Leary .

Regards

These are BBCs episodes from last year. I've seen a few of them. It's very good if you like Who. It's got modern music and such, but they still keep it a little campy with the FX and such. I'm really looking forward to watching this.

Re: New Doctor Who!

Ugh, I watched this last year when they were broadcast in England. Dreadful, derivative nonsense in my opinion. Horrid acting, atrocious scripting, a huge insult to the intelligent, deep SF presented in the original series. Subsequently I caught some Tom Baker eps here in Japan, and wow, awesome stuff. Hard hitting, meaningful, thought-provoking stuff. In the old show, I could forgive the low budget before, because the script made up for it; now it's utterly cringeworthy.

Back to Babylon 5.

Choose your hiding place carefully, Dalek tacticks have changed........ It's got Billy Piper in, that was reason enough for me to watch.
