New iTunes.

The new iTunes is fine, but the artist sorting is wierd, the numbers arent the first artist, and i want it that way. Anyone know how to fix it?

They're always screwing with iTunes...I just decided to leave it at a few versions back. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

My Dad got the new Nano, thats why i had to update, kinda sucks to update, i couldn't sync the ipod without the update.

Do you have to use itunes to put music on a nano. Im thinking about picking one up for work (even though I hate apple), and I dont want to use itunes, I'm hoping I can just drag and drop the songs from my hard drive to the nano.

There is something about itunes that I dont really like. If I play certain mp3 songs, the sound that came out of these songs are distorted with high pitch squeaking. Tell me I'm hallucinating.....

I'm not sure cid, I've always used Itunes, it's convenient for me becuase i dont need to go through folders to listen to my music, its all there. My dad got the New Nano, pretty nice ipod.

You check the volume of the mp3s, or your speakers? Meh i dunno, if it's only certain songs, i guess its not your speakers, but i got no answer for that.

Probably not, I dont need video. I just want something I can hide inside my hardhat and listen to at work. I dont need to see it.

Cid there's custom firmware for iPods and other players called RockBox. I've got that on an old iPod 3Gen 20gig. Much more advanced than the iPod firmware, it's pretty cool.
