don't like the font,
pyramid is the wrong shape and colour,
bottom to top fade doesn't match the remaining part of the banner.

tbh i could sit down for a few hours, but it took me seconds to produce that, i agree it's pretty basic and there was no refinement. However, it's infinitely better that the current bad design.

i realize that i'll probably upset the Jemsite owners and the people behind the facelift, but no point in doing a half ar5sed job on it

Yeah, I spent 5 minutes on mine and I'm sure there are some amateur or professional graphic designers on this site who could invest some real effort and make an award winning banner.

At the same time, the site banner isn't going to impact whether or not I come here. I pretty much scroll right past it to get to the content. Didn't know it changed until I saw this thread.
