this is leading up to the fictional computers in the movie Minority Report....but much sooner than 2050ish..

This looks great. Imagine if they can refine the sensativity to pick up the strokes of a paint brush, then the artist could add colour and light effects digitaly to what their hand has created.

Also I'm sure there are lots of musical uses for this kind of technology.

You could have a HUGE virtual mixing console for home recording.

But as usual it'll probably be the porn industry that leads the way just like they did with DVD's.

That is absolutely fantastic.

Just think how much goofing off you could do at work with something like that.

thats is some great stuff there. Between that and the lazer projection technology there is going to be some amazing interfacing coming soon.
