Okay, I know I'm not a moderator, but I just noticed that a lot of new members aren't putting their location in their profile.
It would help a lot if you did this so we don't have to ask where you live first in order to answer your questions. Plus I think it's interesting where all those new jemsiters live.
If I'm out of line here Glen, tell me. I was just getting annoyed by that, sorry... If this topic is in the wrong area please move it, I just figured that a lot come here to the off-topic forum and might see this earlier than when they stumble into the Forum Anouncements forum after a couple of months...
Hi my name is Vivienne and I live in Cape Town. This is all new to me. I have just purchased an Ibanez Roadstar II Series Serial Number D843463. Made in Japan. Can anyone tell me more about this guitar. Previous owner used oil paint to decorate the guitar. What should I use to take this off?
Cheers Viv
Hey people, here I am at long last. My name is David and I live in a small town called Moriarty in New Mexico, USA. I've lived many places and music has been my passion since I was very young. There is nothing about music in this "one horse town". I moved here from Las Vegas, Nevada, as my mom was sick and I wanted to be with her. Now she's passed, I am looking for a great place to go. Austin, Texas is noted for great guitar music and it's looking really good. I love Blues, jazz and rock. Not too much into metal, but take it as it comes. Rap, to me, isn't music, but sometimes has great beats. Questions, just ask. Glad to be here.
I see by my initiation as "off-topic/miscellaneous" stating that we can't talk about guitars, music gear, or anything related. What is that all about? I am confused as the site is a guitar forum, isn't it? Please help me in my confusion. :?
