Re: other guitar forums

FDP has alot of knowledgable people but i hate the setup. I post there too every now and again.. I moderate pearl drums forum, but we do chat about guitars and the such there as well. Ultimate Guitar is only good for viewing and not posting. its overrun with prepubescent little boys wanting to only discuss things with sexual innuendos.it's pretty sad.

Yes the forum software is horrible, but it is the best Fender site.

Re: other guitar forums

I don't actually know!!!

No explanation was ever offered, I ragged on some guy who was spouting off, and I guess that was sufficient.

Probably because I wasn't a blinkered 100% brand loyal ESP slave didn't help either

It's a shame, I really like their guitars, but I guess I just didn't get on with the neighbors

Re: other guitar forums

The FDP software is kinda buggy. The people over there are almost as friendly as Jemsite, so I hang there occasionally. With 56,000+ members, there's a wealth of info there on Fenders and other gear as well.

Re: other guitar forums

this is the best one i've been to ever. i have the most posts here than any forum i've ever belonged to.

I've been checking out sevenstring.org though, and there's some cool people there, alot of information just like here on tech and technique!

these are basically the only two i go to, with jemsite being a daily thing. you know, get home from school, get a drink, go upstairs, check email, check jemsite, do homework.
