I agree to an extent with this. Maybe not 14-2,but 11-5 or 12-4 wouldn't
be out of the realm of possibility. I don't think the Redskins make the

Look at the record. They loose to the Pats [maybe!] and once to the Girls. They win the rest if they have those receivers

You might be right. I'd have to see what their schedule looked like this
year to see who they played this year outside of their division in order
to form an actully informed opinion.

Just checked it out Rich. Yeah pretty soft schedule with the exception of
the Packers,Pats,and Dallas. Although in this hypothetical situation NE
doesn't have their 3 top receivers....who they'd have replaced them with
would factor into that game. Yeah,I suppose 12-4 to 14-2 wouldn't have
been out of the question.

Except they crushed the Pack with the dolts we fielded, we just muffed 2 kicks late to throw the game ;////

That soft schedule is what also helped the Pats. The AFCE being the weakest division in the AFC

pats are in the worst division but played the best division (of which the eagals are the worst team in)... glen

Well the AFC west was pretty God awful too. In the East Buffalo was not
too bad. Although the Pats did have Dallas,San Diego,Indy,and the Giants
on the schedule.....3 of 4 on the road. But you're right about the AFC east
in general though.......The Pats and then not much else. Of course the same
thing could be said of the entire NFL this season.

I like the pats, games in the beginning of the season where boring to watch because they were so damn one-sided

i dont get the point of this Brady discussion... what team would make the playoffs with thei backup qb? Losing a starting quarterback makes virtually every team look average. Take the giants and chargers out of the equation since they played the full season with backup qbs.

Oh and Rich, you cant say too much about the pats having an easy schedule. The division is weak but they still bea the Chargers, Colts, Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, Redskins, Jaguars. The only highly ranked tea they have yet to beat is the Packers (which they will probably do in the Super Bowl if the refs dont throw the game Favre's way).
