Well, I don't hate the Patriots but, all I can say is Go Chargers. Next week might be a good game, but the Chargers injuries might make it another predictable victory for the Pats.

I am all for a Pats-Packers Super Bowl rematch. But its tough when you are rooting for both teams.

Maybe, but I don't see the Pats beating the Eagles without Welker. Welker was mighty mighty in that game, like he is in every game. I'd love to see him on the Giants

For all the times the Pats have been on TV this season, I've seen Welker drop one ball that was in his hands. He'd be great next to Toomer

I just hope that LT and Rivers are healthy for the AFC championship. Everybody watched the Chargers beat New England Jr. (Indy) with the backups. That defense doesn't get enough credit in San Diego. Let's not pretend that Brady is significantly better then Peyton either! Somebody end all of the real football fans misery! Brett Favre, please be thy savior if necessary!!!

so since this has turned into a general NFL thread... does anyone else see the Cowboys firing Phillips and moving Garrett to head coach (assuming another team offers Garrett a job)? I know it was only one year, but did Wade do anything to improve the team this year? Seems the only real strides were on offense and just growth/experience on defense rather than a improved system.

Even if you think Phillips should keep his job, it will be interesting to see how loyal Jerry Jones is.

Garrett was the plan from the beginning. WP was a lame duck from the first day of camp. JJ has the excuse he needed to toss him and put Garrett in his slot. Which is too bad cause I always liked WP, especially when he was leading the Girls to nowhere
