Photography gear!

I am starting this thread so that it is easier for photography n00bs like me to relate the pictures posted by users to the hardware the use or maybe users can post settings with the shots they post.

I have a Canon Rebel XSi with 18-55 kit lens. I plan to buy a sigma 70-300mm lens.

Posting settings (exif) info with the photos in the photo thread would be a good idea.
