pictures of my garden! Look!!! (56k Warning)

Of course we all know of Jim's garden, but how about mine?

Being Asian, I never understood why people planted things you couldn't eat, unless it was a beautiful specimen. Most plants I have are edible. Right now, it doesn't look as full as it used to, but it is still nice. earlier this year, I had 50 plants that made/were food

i have all sorts of others, but they don't have any fruit right now. i have blackberries, mango, plums, peaches, figs, key limes, strawberries, onions, shallots, garlic, potatoes and alot of exotic stuff. You probably never heard of them. I have pretty much everything I want except green apples and grapefruit.

Here are some that I am most proud of.

check out these papaya trees. I have never seen any trees that produced that many papayas. This is amazing in my book.

Grapes growing on a struture my carpenter friend made, and forming a green fence. He ihas some mad skills and is also going to build me a guitar and possibly even an electric cello.

My other passion: DOGS! The chow looks cute, and she is, but if you come in our backyard with out me, she will f*cking rip you apart and play with your tattered corpse and diseminate your organs across the yard. I know some of you were eye'ing me Rg1527. She is extremely protective, but very polite when I'm around.

I always though grapefruits were a tropical plant and Texas wasn't tropical, not like Florida anyways.

Well, I live on the coast. the weather in Corpse of Christ is pretty tropical. It only has two seasons and is humid and hot most of the time.

Yeah, the gulf coast I guess would be about the only part that you could get away with it.

That is a really awesome garden.

And yes, habaneros are pretty darn hot. I usually use a whole one for my salsa, but no one eats it.

I have a dog like that, too. Well, not a chow, a Doberman, and he is the nicest dog you could ever meet, unless we're not around. He almost ripped my friend to shreds one night because he hopped the fence to come around back because we were outside.
